Pharos Capital Group, LLC has an opening for Manager – Strategic Operations and Marketing Initiatives at the company’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of working at our Dallas headquarters, Employee may work remotely from any location in the U.S.
Pharos manages several funds that actively invest in a portfolio of healthcare companies. Employee will be responsible for researching, developing, and managing our portfolio healthcare companies’ expansion efforts in the Middle East (“Mideast”) and for developing our fundraising efforts in the Mideast by researching and identifying attractive investment partners.
Employee must have a bachelor’s, or higher, degree (or a foreign educational equivalent) in Public Health, Healthcare Management, or related field and at least three years of employment experience in a position involving healthcare business operations management, marketing, or analysis. Employee also must have a good understanding of Middle Eastern culture to effectively source expansion opportunities for our portfolio healthcare companies and expand our limited partner base into the Mideast.
Employee will be required to travel (a) domestically approx. 6 to 8 times a year for approx. 2 to 3 days at a time to meet and consult with our portfolio healthcare companies and to attend healthcare industry conferences and (b) internationally to various countries in the Mideast approx. 4 to 5 times a year for approx. one week at a time to source expansion opportunities for our portfolio companies and engage in efforts to expand our limited partner base into that region. If Employee works remotely from a location other than our Dallas headquarters, Employee will also be required to travel to the headquarters office approximately once every 4 to 6 weeks for approximately 3 to 4 days at a time to meet and consult with the CEO and other managers.
